Tesla, an American electric car manufacturer, is one of the world’s leading electric car brands. The company ships millions of electric vehicles each year and operates a number of gigafactories. The company currently operates gigafactories in Texas, Shanghai, and Berlin. The company hopes to have enough units to expand to other regions with these factories and other assembly plants. To meet demand, the automaker had to upgrade its Shanghai gigafactory. In early August, the company completed the production line upgrade successfully. With the completion of the upgrade, Tesla’s electric vehicle production speed has increased. Tesla began to enter the passenger car market in more countries and regions as production increased.
Tesla will Enter The Thai Market.
According to TESLARATI, a document from Tesla’s Ministry of Commerce in Thailand was shared by Twitter user @Ekapob in May. David Jon Feinstein, Tesla’s global senior director in charge of entering new markets, is mentioned in the document. Furthermore, the company registered Tesla (Thailand) Co., Ltd. in the Bangkok office building (M Thai Building, All Seasons Place) in April of this year, according to DataforThai. The office will be in charge of selling passenger cars, pickup trucks, vans, and new energy vehicles such as small cars.
Tesla recently posted a job listing in Bangkok. According to the list, the company is looking for consultants, office administrators, senior recruiters, vehicle technicians, public policy and business development managers, inside sales consultants, and other positions. The public policy and business development manager, for example, will be in charge of meeting with Thai government officials on Tesla’s behalf to discuss policies and regulations affecting the company in Thailand. This string of hires suggests that Tesla is preparing to enter the Thai market. In Thailand, the company has not yet built infrastructure such as supercharging stations. This will change once it begins operations in Thailand with its electric vehicle business.
